This graphic novel, made in 2004, narrates how Nasser Ali Khan, a famous târ player in Iran, decides to let himself die.
Indeed, his târ is broken, and no other instrument sounds right anymore…
Brokenhearted, the story relates the eights days during which Nasser renounces to everything in his life.
The story was also adapted in a movie, directed by Marjane Satrapi herself and Vincent Paronnaud, in 2011 !
