En mars dernier, nous avons eu l’immense plaisir de rencontrer l’artiste visuelle et photographe Héla Ammar, qui nous a ouvert les portes de son atelier à La Marsa, en banlieue de Tunis !
Ce fut l’occasion d’échanger sur son parcours et sur les principaux thèmes qu’elle explore à travers ses œuvres, et qui ont guidé ses différents projets : la question de la mémoire, de l’identité, ou encore de la double culture, en se laissant toujours guider par la rencontre et l’expérience humaine avant tout.

Last March, we had the great pleasure to meet the visual artist and photographer Héla Ammar, who opened to us the doors of her artist studio in La Marsa, a suburb of Tunis !
It was an opportunity to talk about her career and the main themes she explores through her work, and which have guided her different projects : the question of memory, identity, or double culture, always guided by the encounter and the human experience above all.
